As we doff our hats for the organizers of the 2010 celebrations and the President of Liberia for the projects accomplished, we must commend the national orator for stimulating a national debate that can help eliminate falsehoods and pretenses through our willingness to selflessly accept the truth.

Any End To TRC-GOL Debt Saga?

WE THINK THE Government of Liberia (GOL) should close the chapter of the TRC for good, or once and for all! GOL needs not entertain delays, but must rather promptly settle this domestic arrear as a way to celebrate the debt waiver by IMF and World Bank that had burdened the country and limited its ability to rise up in a timely manner to meet and liquidate its domestic obligations.
