  The Deputy Commissioner for Administration at the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization, Archie P. Williams, has clarified that he is not the one wanted by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. (TRC). However, he did not say who the TRC is calling for.  In an interview with the Public Agenda yesterday,  the Deputy Commissioner said he has no connection with the Liberian wars and there is no need to be called by the TRC.
“I worked in so many capacities here in this Country including the police, under the Transitional period, and as a very young boy coming up during the period of the 1990s wars; I’ve not been involved with warring activities” Mr. Williams said. He told this paper that he also worked in the information section of the United Stated Embassy here prior to joining the Liberia National Police to offer his quota to his country.
  According to him, the information released by the TRC naming one ‘Archie Williams did not in any way affect his name, Archie P. Williams saying, he is not embarrassed because, he did not take  part in the 14 years wars that defaced the Country. “I know nothing about gun.” He added.
Mr. Williams used the occasion, to say that following the attack on him Months ago, from which he was hospitalized, he has again, begun receiving anonymous calls from people threatening his life.
According to him, it was suspected that because of his position at the Bureau of Immigration (BIN), some employees at the BIN are on the discreet move to eliminate him.
 He said, many times especially of this week, he has received several text messages coming to him on a Liber-Cell number with wordings, that “...you think all is well with you, god bless you the first time, but this time, if you end this Month then you are lucky…you better leave the people office.” According to him, the sender of the text informed that there are other measures currently underway to finally put him to sleep (death).
Meanwhile, Mr. Williams said, he has formally registered the latest threats on his life to the National Security Agency (NSA) including the Ministry of Justice. 
The Deputy BIN Commissioner was brutally attacked few Months ago by some unknown people at night in Monrovia and was severely left wounded. There was no arrest in the incident.
