Police Divided Over Teenage Prostitution

A crucial point into what is investigated and reported as teenage prostitution in Liberia by Public Agenda Newspaper has taken a new twist of debate as police in Monrovia vehemently contradict those in Ganta over the same issue.
Although they are all taught and trained in the same lessons at the National Police Academy with particular and special trainings on Women and Children Issues, officials of the Women & Children Protection Section assigned at the Police Central headquarters on Capitol Hill and those assigned at the Ganta Details in Nimba County have disagreed over reports of teenage prostitution in Liberia.

Deaths Reported As Canoe Capsizes

-In River Cess

A woman and a two year old child are reported dead in Cesto City, River Cess County as a consequence of Cannoe wreck. Report said the Cannoe overturned earlier Thursday morning while advancing to cross the river. According to report from Cesto city, the accident was due to poor weather condition and an apparent careless operation by crew.
