Six Muslim Youths To Attend Pilgrimage

The Grand Mufti of Liberia, Sheikh Abubarcar M.D. Soumawolo, has disclosed that six Muslim youths are to attend pilgrimage this year at the cost of the Prince of Saudi Arabia,
According to Sheikh Soumawolo, besides the six Muslim youths that will attend the Hajj in the Muslim’s holy land of Mecca, four others will win laptops and cell phones. These wins are part of the competition to be organized under the auspices of the National Muslim Council and sponsored by the Crown Prince Abdullah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Historic places are well regarded as heritage and remarkable places for tourism. Tombs, graves, of great and important people are of no exception.
The grave of former Liberian President, Daniel B. Warner, lying on Warner Street and Camp Johnson Road in Monrovia is currently being overshadowed by trees. These trees whether they planted by man for decoration as flowers or they merely overgrew out of size; they no longer give pleasant sight to the grave of the former Liberian leader tell anyone a good remembrance of the fallen leader.

UN Envoy Ellen Margrethe Løj has described the role of Staff Officers and Military Observers “crucial” as the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) prepares to support the Liberian Government in its 2011 general and presidential elections. She made this statement over the weekend when she awarded UN peacekeeping medals to these 76 senior military officers (24 Staff Officers and 52 Military Observers) from 26 different countries for their “valuable contributions” to Liberia’s peace process.
